The Kings' order is up
If you spent the final part of Tuesday warming to what the Sacramento Kings are up to, stop, turn around, drive right back to where you were when you heard the news: Tyrese Haliburton and Buddy Hield for Domantas Sabonis.
This is not the thing that does it for the Kings.
Domantas averages 19 and 12 and five assists and yet nobody knows quite what to do with the two-time All-Star, save your Kings, who want to put him on Alvin Gentry’s team without the benefit of a training camp. The idea is to match Sabonis, a strong passer, with De’Aaron Fox, whose dad encouraged him to learn point guard play from video games.
“He was one of those kids you didn’t really have to teach much on the basketball court–show him something and he could learn,” Aaron Fox says. “A lot of people don’t believe me, but I tell everyone that that PlayStation helped him get where he is today.
