Robert Sarver is so replaceable

(Never Too Much podcast: Eastern Conference comes back just in time for Big Saturday.)

So, Adam Silver, do you enjoy the fires? Do you think they’re going away? They’re not all gonna be Sterling. They’re not all gonna be too flabby to fight.

It will be a fight, doing the right thing with Robert Sarver, which is why we don’t trust the NBA to do the right thing. Not with a fight involved. The NBA knows it can’t constitute conviction out of thin air, not when it routinely begs people like Robert Sarver to join its ranks.

The NBA crawled in 2004, when Sarver bought his Suns. It had to scrounge for creeps like Sarver to prove people still wanted part of the league. David Stern didn’t care if you used a foam finger to endorse a check, if you’re too impoverished for the NFL, take a shot with the NBA.
