Look at us, a playoff jumble. Not a race, every team is already in, but a scramble. A cramble. Two-thirds of the NBA makes the NBA playoffs, two of the league’s final three days (Friday night, Sunday afternoon) feature 15 games.

Saturday is for traveling. Many teams work up performances halfway across America, in-conference but certainly not local.

Here’s how we live on Friday morning:

If the Celtics beat the Hornets and Wizards on Friday and Sunday in Boston, the C’s will be the winningest Eastern team since the 1972-73 Celtics to not win the NBA title.
