In the last long weekend of the NBA’s regular season, the Bucks and Pistons will run a “home and home,” a game in Detroit on Friday evening, a contest in Milwaukee on Sunday afternoon.
The Bucks and Pistons are tied for the No. 5 seed in the East. After Detroit hosts Denver on Friday — be giddy — the Bucks and Pistons own an even split of road and home games remaining, but Milwaukee forecasts the tougher schedule.
Detroit’s win over Boston on Wednesday was the Detroit’s eighth consecutive, the longest wining streak in the NBA. A 17-6 finish to the season likely vaults Detroit into home-court advantage in the opening round of the playoffs, ensuring the Pistons win over 60 percent of Detroit’s games for the first time since Jimmy Fallon didn’t have a job.
With those final two victories of 2024-25 potentially hurtling through those Bucks in those final hours of the regular season. And we love a miniseries, we love it, all of the NBA’s schedule should be made of miniseries.
The Bucks are to be credited for hanging around, past all the shit we threw at them for going basic cable, hiring Doc Rivers.
